Beautycon Boxย

Beauty, Style

Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I recieved a special package in the mail that I was super excited about. I’m attending BeautyCon LA for the second year in a row! Each year they give me wristbands to get inside the festival. For those of you unfamiliar with the festival, it’s a makeup based event with several panelists. This year some of my favorite people are gonna be there: Chrissy Teigen, Amber Rose, Laverne Cox, Sophia Amoruso, etc! This is my box with my tickets I recieved including some other fun freebies!

Included in my box was:

  • An original beautycon patch
  • A ColourpopxBeautycon lipstick
  • Pamphlet about beautycon
  • Two general two-day admission wristbands.

I purchased two general two day admission tickets for my mother and I which came to a total around 140/170$. The tickets are 79.99 per person for two days. Overall the experience is very worth it and so much fun. I’ll be posting a post on my experience this year stay tuned! Xo ๐Ÿ’‹

Lorac Pirates of the Carribean Cheek Kit ๐Ÿ”ฎ

Beauty

Hi everyone I’m so excited to share a new product by Lorac that’s limited edition! It’s the new Cheek Set inspired by the movie Pirates of the Carribean! It includes 6 pans in the palette which include 4 highlighters and 2 blushes. This is what the packaging looks like.

I really liked how the palette itself has an astrological vibe ๐ŸŒŒ to its look. It looks very unique compared to other palettes I’ve purchased.

This is the actual inside of the palette inside.

The highlighting shades are: Fortune, Destined, Star Reader, and Bold Spirit.

The blush shades are: Lost Soul & Carribean.

The thing I like about this palette is it comes with a mirror which is very convienent to have.

Lastly, I swatched each of the highlighters to show up on camera.

(From left to right) Bold Spirit, Star Reader, Destined, and Fortune. These are very pigmented and go a long way with just a little product. I love these colors because they are very pastel and opalescent. I would definitely recommend this product it was only $30 at Ulta!

Mini Sephora Haulย

Beauty

Hello again everyone! I’m gonna be reviewing some more products I decided to try out recently I purchased at Sephora. The first thing I purchased was the Milk Makeup Highlighter in the shade “Lit”. It has a roll on application, but sometimes I will just dab some on my finger and apply it evenly. The color is very pigmented and lasts me all day!

The second product I purchased is the Dinoplatz lip balm in the shade “Spilled Wine ๐Ÿท ” the balm appears as a dark burgundy color, but goes on very sheer. I like this product because it gives me a pinkish tint and keeps my lips hydrated all day. The packaging is very unique as well.
The last product was really more of an impulse buy. It was a Sephora brand face mask sheet in pearl. I decided to get this product because I needed the extra treatment for my skin. After leaving it on for about 15 minutes my skin felt super soft and glowy. ๐Ÿ’†๐ŸผThis mask was only 5$ too! It’s good to invest in good quality products.

Glossier.

Beauty

Hello everyone! Today I’m giving a brief review on some products I received from a brand called Glossier. There is a lot of hype around this brand and is supposed to be for minimal makeup and good skin โœจ. I got the SuperPure skin drops which is supposed to help acne prone/oily skin. I apply three drops into my T-zone where I normally break out and it makes my skin feel SUPER soft and velvety. It does a good job of reducing redness and I would 10/10 recommend this product for acne prone skin. The second product I got is the Cloud Paint in the color “Puff”. This product is a very pigmented blush that is a cream and appears mildly dewy on the skin. Overall, these products are working wonders for me so far and the price is right. P.S. the packaging makes it even better ๐Ÿ˜‰ย
